Importance of Schoology
Schoology is a learning management system that helps our students navigate their daily responsibly as a middle school student.
Here are few important things about it:
*While there is not a parent version of Schoology you can have your child show you their view. *
Here are few important things about it:
- On its home page it shows students courses, upcoming assignments, and overdue assignments.
- At the top it notifies students of messages and other notifications (uploads of assignments or when something is graded).
- In each course, as well as at the top, there is a place to show grades. When looking at student grades some icons are important to note:
- If a student has submitted an assignment there will be a small piece of paper beside it.
- If a student has not submitted an assignment there will be a small dash where the grade will go.
- If it has been excused by the teacher, it will say so with a green dot beside it,
- If it has been marked missing or a zero has been put in, it will no longer appear in the overdue section on the home screen but will show either mark in the grade book.
